What to Pack in Your Wedding Day Emergency Kit

Feb 24, 2023

You want to have total peace of mind on your wedding day, right? Well, packing a wedding emergency kit can help you do that! It will be full of items that can help solve any small issues that could arise on your wedding day, and will prevent anyone from having to leave to grab something.

The Most Important Items to Pack in Your Bridal Emergency Kit

Here are some of the top items that we recommend packing in your bridal emergency kit!

Sewing Kit

Trust us when we say that you will want to have the peace of mind of having a sewing kit on hand! Even if you don’t know how to sew, it’s likely that someone will. It will come in handy in case anyone has any minor rips or snags! Make sure the kit has the colors of your dress, your bridesmaids dress, and the groom’s and groomsmen’s suits.

Travel Sizes of Makeup

When you have your makeup trial, do your best to find out what makeup will be used on your wedding day. Then, purchase a few trial sizes of that makeup to have on hand in case anything needs to be fixed after your makeup artist leaves for the day! This could include your concealer, powder, mascara, and lash glue. Your makeup artist will likely give you a little bit of your lip color to reapply, but if not, make sure that you grab that, too!

Snacks and water

It is so important to make sure that you are eating and drinking throughout the day! You don’t want to end up passing out during the ceremony or reception because you haven’t eaten or drank anything! Granola bars, crackers, and fruit snacks are always some good options to keep on hand.

Extra jewelry and earring backs

You may not think to bring backup jewelry, but it can be helpful to have in case anything breaks – especially if they break before you have taken pictures! And you can never have too many extra earring backs on hand – for you and for anyone in your wedding party!

Jewelry cleaner

Your rings will be photographed in up-close detail shots and looked at by a lot of people on your wedding day, so having a jewelry cleaner on hand doesn’t hurt!
